Facing Options

The latest version of HSMWorks introduce a new option on the Facing strategy: From other side.

Together, the Direction and From other side options give you full control over how the facing tool path should be laid out, and in which corner of stock the tool path should start.

The following table shows the resulting tool paths for each combination of these options.

Climb Climb, From other side
Conventional Conventional, From other side
Both ways Both ways, From other side

Notice: That the passes do not extend completely to one side because the last pass ensures that all stock has been fully removed by the tool.
